Summary

Site of an alleged barrow. According to Grinsell an early 19th century source referred to a barrow having formerly stood in the churchyard at Wimborne St Giles. Grinsell was unable to find any trace of a barrow, as was an Ordnance Survey field investigator in 1954.

Full Description

According to G. A. Cooke, there was a barrow in the churchyard of Wimborne St. Giles, SU 032119. There is no sign of it now. <2> No trace of a barrow could be found. <1>
