Summary
A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1970 this monument was reported as around 54 feet in diameter with a mound about 4½ feet high. The barrow is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery of 2010.

Full Description
Three heather covered round barrows near Pallington Clump have all been mutilated by vehicle tracks. The diameters of the barrow are all measured from inside ditch to inside ditch and the heights from the top of the mound to the base of the ditch. … 'C' - SY 78969222. Ditched bowl barrow, 17.0m diameter and 1.5m high with a surrounding ditch averaging 2.0m wide and 0.2m deep. <2>

'C' SY 78959222, as described above; no visible ditch. A, B and C re-surveyed, and D surveyed, at 1:2500 on MSD. <5>
The barrow is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery of 2010. It is sub-circular in shape and measures 14 m in diameter. (3) The barrow is scheduled with another barrow, located immediately to the west (see MDO6991), but no trace of this feature could be identified during the survey. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
