A bowl barrow reported as being around 62 feet in diameter with a mound about 8½ feet high, though damaged. The barrow is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery.

Full Description
A large bowl barrow, no details given. <2>
This barrow has a diameter of 19.0 metres and a height of 2.0 metres and has no surrounding ditch. It has not been mutilated except for a small military slit trench at its base in the North East quadrant. Heather and gorse covered Bowl Barrow. <3>
SY 8249 9241. Bowl barrow, 62ft diameter and 8 1/2ft high but damaged, situated in Throap Clump. <5>
SY 8249 9240, diameter 22.0m, height 2.2m, badly mutilated by digging with a pit near the centre 4.0m in diameter. No visible ditch. Resurveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <6>
The Bronze Age barrow is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery adjacent to Throop Clump. The barrow is sub-circular in shape and measures 20 m in diameter. <8> This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
