Summary
A bowl barrow recorded as being around 30 feet in diameter with a mound about 5 feet high. The barrow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1945.

Full Description
Shown as Rewbarrow on 1 inch Ordnance Survey map of 1811. <1>
(SY 81829455) A rather high round mound - probably a round barrow. <2>
Surveyed at SY 81839455 is a probable bowl barrow represented by a bush-covered, circular mound, 10.0m diameter and 1.5m high with a drepssion in the top. <3>
SY 81839453. Bowl barrow, 13 paces diameter and 5 1/2ft high shown on OS 1" 1811 as Rewbarrow. <4>
Visited. Now only a site but identifiable as a slight swell on which the turf grows poorly. (4)
SY 81849456. Rewbarrow, (shown on OS 1811), a bowl(?) barrow about 30ft diameter and 5ft high. <5>
SY 81839455: now only 0.2m. In height and almost ploughed out. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <8>
Visited by MPPA in 2001, there are no visible remains of a barrow here. Not recommended for scheduling. Ground photo with archive report. <11>
The barrow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1945 to the west of Kite Hill Plantation. The barrow is sub-circular in shape and measures 11 m in diameter. <9> This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
