Full Description

Occupation Debris comes from rabbit-burrows in a shallow re-entrant below the 50ft contour W of Big Wood (9760-8843). The pottery (in D.C.M), of local Romano-British coarse ware not necessarily later than the 2nd century is oxidised and said to be associated with red ashy soil. (Dorset Procs.
