Investigations associated with Wellsite G - Gathering Station in 1989 identified several series of low parallel banks, some lying in different orientations. They may represent the possible remains of ridge and furrow. These features were also visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and Lidar imagery of Slepe Moor and are considered more likely to be the remains of a drainage system of probable post medieval date.

Investigations associated with Wellsite G - Gathering Station in 1989 identified several series of low parallel banks, some lying in different orientations. They may represent the possible remains of ridge and furrow. Headland visible along field boundary. (1) A series of low parallel banks and ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (2) and Lidar imagery (3) of Slepe Moor. They are considered likely to be the remains of a drainage system of probable post medieval date. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive imagery available to the project (4).
