Summary
A bronze coin of the Emperor Vespasian (AD 69-79) found in 1989 in soil disturbed during construction of the Wareham By-pass. Findspot is close to an extensive Roman pottery manufacturing site.

Full Description
An unstratified bronze Roman coin was found on the East side of the newly completed Wareham Bypass at SY91358660. It was minted in Lyons and dated to 72-3 AD. <1>
