Summary
A circular mound is visible at this location as an earthwork on aerial photographs. It is considered likely to be the remains of a late prehistoric round barrow. A hollow in its southern side may be the result of an excavation. It is one of two potential barrows located in this vicinity (MDO7243-44).

'B -SY 77938102. Bowl barow, not ploughed. Diameter 13.0m., height 1.5m. No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
A circular mound, approximatley 10m in diameter, is visible at this location as an earthwork on aerial photographs <5>. It is considered likely to be the remains of a late prehistoric round barrow. A hollow in its southern side may be the result of an excavation. It is one of two potential barrows located in this vicinity (MDO7243-44). This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset). It is still visible as an earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project.
