A mound, 16m across, visible as earthworks on aerial photographs <3>. It is one of a linear cemetery of four Bronze Age barrows forming the Creech Heath Group. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
'D' SY 92598405 Spread bowl barrow. <4>
The Creech Heath group of four bowl barrows lies in a west-east line above a south slope. One of these may have been the barrow on the Heath opened in the 19th century (see SY 98 SW 47) No. 49. (D) 47 feet diameter by 3 feet high. <6>

A string of four round barrows occupying a prominent position on a low ridge in heathland. 'D'. A spread round barrow up to 19.2m in diameter and 0.8m high. Published 1:2500 survey revised. <8>
