Full Description
A Bronze Age round barrow, approximately 29m in diameter and surrounded by a 1m wide outer ditch, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Nine Barrows Down, Corfe Castle (1-2). It is one of a group of seventeen Bronze Age round barrows (MDO7427-7442) and a Neolithic long barrow (MDO7407) located here. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck mapping project.
