Fragments of a field system of probable Iron Age or Romano British origin are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on the west facing ridge to the north and east of Broadly Wood (1-4). Parallel strip lynchets may indicate reuse in the medieval period. The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
