Summary
Bowl barrow, one of the two barrows known as Ferny Barrows, situated on the summit of a slight rise. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 75 feet in diameter with a mound about 6 feet high, and damaged on the north side. The centre of the mound is also disturbed, presumably in the course of antiquarian investigation.

SY 876816. Ferney Barrows (sic) round barrows. Scheduled. <3>
Ferny Barrows (name not confirmed): … 'B'. SY 86668161: Bowl barrow, diameter 24.0m., height 2.0m. Both barrows are in an arable field but have not been ploughed over. Resurveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
They are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs, situated on the summit of a slight rise <5-6>. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
