Full Description
Possible field boundaries, which may date to between the late prehistoric and medieval periods, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1945 to the north east of Dancing Ledge, Langton Matravers. The boundaries are visible as banks forming three possible sub-rectangular fields. They cover an area measuring approximately 110 m by 85 m. <2> This site is partially visible as an earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project. <3> This site was digitally plotted during the South west Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
