Full Description

Neolithic axe-head 5.4" x 1.8" ground and polished. Found on Dullar Farm, Sturminster Marshall (SY 943981). Now on show in Dorset County Museum (1908). <1> Miss V.M. Chandler,of Dullar Farm, could offer no information upon this axe, but it is one of a number of Neolithic finds made at Dullar Farm during the last 50 years. The axe, of flint, is still exhibited at the DCM. <2>
