Summary
A mound interpreted as a probable round barrow, thought to have been destroyed by quarrying. A mound shown on an estate map of 1770 may be this barrow, which is called New Barrow on the map.

Full Description
A bowl barrow situated at SY 79438831. <1>
A ditchless, heather-covered bowl barrow 9.7m diameter and 0.5m high surveyed at SY 79498833. Slightly mutilated by rabbit burrows. <2>
Listed as a bowl barrow, 10 paces diameter and 1 1/2ft high, at SY 79448834, by Grinsell <3>. RCHM <4> mention the barrow but give no details other than that it was situated in an area now destroyed by quarrying.

A mound described as "New Barrow", appears on an estate map at approx SY 79998835, the area is now occupied by a gravel pit. It is possibly the barrow noted by Auth 1. <6>
