Full Description
SY 91128340. Ditched tree-covered bowl barrow on a slight south-east slope steepening some 20 yards to the south. Diameter 30 feet, height 3 feet, with ditch about 4 feet wide. <3>
SY 91178343. Round barrow hidden by a pine copse on Grange Heath discovered by Brown <1>. It is approx. 3ft. High and 30ft. Diameter, grass covered and there is no apparent ditch. Listed by Grinsell, Steeple 3b. (Despite the difference in NGR and description between Authys <3> and <1> <2>, RCHM state that their
barrow No 24 is also Grinsell's Steeple 3b).
SY 91128340. A well preserved ditched bowl barrow situated on rising ground. It measures between 16.0m and 17.5m overall; the mound is 0.8m high and the ditch is 0.5m deep. <5>
