Full Description

SY 67069416. A ditchless grass covered mound. Diameter 14.0 metres east-west and 13.0 metres north-south. Probably a bowl barrow, mutilated by cultivation. (1) (SY 67069416) Moiund located and surveyed. (2) The mound is generally as described and measured by Authority (1). Another similar mound in the same field, at SY 66959416, measures 19.6 metres east-west and 21.8 metres north-south, and also averages 0.5 metres high. Both are currently ploughed and composed of earth; possible bowl barrows. Surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. (4) Grinsell recorded this barrow as 17 paces in diameter with a slight mound. <5>
