Full Description

The lynchets have been ploughed and are generally in poor condition. The majority are traceable only in a low light. <3> Earthworks of medieval strip lynchets and ridge and furrow surrounding Tyneham village (MDO8054) are visible on aerial photographs <6-8> and Lidar imagery <9-10>. These features were digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
