Summary

A small pit recorded during archaeological evaluation in 1997 of a site proposed for a housing development. Pieces of worked flint of later prehistoric, probably Bronze Age, date were recovered from the filling of the pit.

Full Description

A small pit was discovered in Trench 3 of dimensions 0.95m by 0.5m and depth of 0.14m. Three pieces of worked flint were recovered from the filling of the pit, suggesting a prehistoric date. <1>
