A large Bronze Age bell barrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. It is one of a linear barrow cemetery on Five Barrow Hill.

Full Description

Five Barrow Hill Group of six round barrows, including three bells in an almost straight line along the summit of a slight ridge: 'C'-(34) SY 87618400. Bell barrow, 105ft diameter including sloping berm and 6ft high, with recently recut ditch 12ft wide and up to 3 1/2ft deep. <3> SY 876840. Five Barrows, round barrows. Scheduled. <4> Barrows 'A' - 'D' approximate to the descriptions and measurements of Authority (3). Revised at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <5> Site of a Bronze Age bell barrow 36m across. It is one of a linear barrow cemetery on Five Barrow Hill. The barrow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs <7-8> and was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
