Summary
A Bronze Age round barrow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Trigon Hill Plantation taken in 1956. It is one of a group of barrows in a line on a small ridge in heathland. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 48 feet in diameter with a mound about 3 feet high. The mound has been damaged, possibly by antiquarian investigation. It is not clearly visible on recent aerial imagery, this area now being heavily overgrown with scrub.

Full Description
Bowl barrow. <2>
A bracken covered mound with no trace of a berm or a ditch, and does not appear to have been excavated. Diameter 17.0 metres; height 1.7 metres. A bowl barrow. <3>

SY 89168968. Bowl barrow in dense woodland. Diameter 17.0 metres, height 1.2 metres. No visible ditch. Resurveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <7>
A Bronze Age round barrow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of Trigon Hill Plantation taken in 1956 <9>. It comprises of a circular mound, approximately 20.9m in diameter. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not clearly visible on the most recent aerial imagery available to the project, this area now being heavily overgrown with scrub.
