Summary

A Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1970 this monument was reported as around 30 feet in diameter with a mound 3 feet high. The mound is disturbed in the centre, perhaps as a result of antiquarian investigation.

Full Description

A bowl barrow. No details given. <2> This barrow has a diameter of 8.0 metres and a height of 1.0 metres. There isno ditch. An East-West trench across the top of barrow is 0.7 metres wide and 0.1 metres deep. There were no surface finds. A heather covered bowl barrow. <3> SY 806835. Round barrow on Whitcombe Hill. <5> A bowl barrow, generally as described and measured by Authority (3). Revised at 1:2500 on MSD. <7>
