Summary
Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1970 this monument was reported as being around 42 feet in diameter with a mound around 1½ feet high, and much damaged by ploughing. This may be one of six barrows in this area opened by antiquarian Charles Warne, who found cists filled with ashes in one, possibly cremation burials, and ashes in others.

'A' - SY 73869948. Ditchless bowl barrow, 22.0m diameter and 1.0m. high has been spread by ploughing. <3>
'A' - (31) SY 73869947. Bowl barrow, about 42 ft diameter and 11/2 ft high much damaged by ploughing.

'A'. SY 73859947. Bowl barrow in arable, ploughed almost flat. Diameter approximately 15.0 metres, height 0.3 metres. None of the barrows has a visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <6>
