Full Description
The mounds shown on OS plans are the result of the dumpings of waste quarry material from the marble quarries. The main mounds extend eastward from Dunshay Manor and are centred at SY 98257965 and presumably the marble was extraced from that area. No working face of a quarry was found in the area. The mounds are heavily overgrown. <2>
