A series of field boundaries of medieval or post medieval date are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs to the west of Sunnydown (1-3). The remains of possible ridge and furrow cultivation is associated with the field boundaries. The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
