Full Description
First century Romano-British sherds found in 1920, at Southbourne. (1) Belgic sherds including bead rims found in Leigham Vale Road in September 1920. Purchased from Mr Homewood (a local collector) by H Druitt, and now in the Druitt Collection, Red House, Museum, Christchurch. (2) These sherds fall into the category of the 1st cent, IA C or RB native wares. (3)
