Full Description
An undated enclosure at SY 75209860, now visible only as a crop mark on air photographs, lies across the parish boundary with Dewlish, at the head of a small valley. It is about 5 acres in area, roughly circular, and bounded by a ditch about 5ft across. No entrances or internal features are visible. It is probably Iron Age in date though a large concentration of Roman pottery has been found 300 yds due E (SY 79 NE 42). There is no demonstrable relationship between the enclosure and adjacent 'Celtic' fields. <1>
Not visible on the ground. <2>
