Bronze Age pottery including sherds of Beaker pottery, found during the building of a new road in 1911. The road was built through the garden of a house called Heatherleigh and is now called Heatherleigh Road.

Full Description
EBA sherds found in 1911 close to the site of Heatherleigh, when making a new road through the garden. a. Thin red sherds decorated with nail-marks. ? Beaker b. Pecked sherd. c. A fragment of outbent rim with stab decoration. (?rusticated) In Red House Museum, Christchurch. <1-2>
