Summary
A farmhouse built around the middle of the 17th century, with late 18th-century additions. The building has walls of cob covered in plaster, and a thatched roof with brick chimney stack. A projecting wing at the front was probably formerly a dairy. Surviving features of the interior are reported to include open fireplaces and ceiling beams.

Full Description
At Milborne St. Andrew is the farmhouse formerly belonging to the Coles family (presumably Coles Farm); part of which was "anciently a chapel, bones having been dug up in or near the end of it. It was entire, and officiated in when Mr. King was vicar. "(Thomas King, vicar, 1645-1679). <1>
SY 80329812. Coles Farmhouse of two storeys with cob walls above a flint plinth and thatched roof is probably of the middle of the 17th century with additions in the early 19th century. A banded flint and rubble barn, 30 yards north of the farmhouse is perhaps of the late 17th or early 18th century. <3>
