Summary
A Methodist Chapel built in 1818 (Local Methodist Society Records) and later altered and used as a store. It is situated to the east of Martyrs' Cottages. The building is constructed of cob on a brick plinth, with a double Roman tile roof. It is two bays in length, one-storey in height with an inserted loft, and stands with its gable end facing the road. Five of the six Tolpuddle Martyrs were Methodists, and it is presumed that they worshipped in this building.
