Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Romano-British material, including slag and pottery, has been recovered from this area as surface finds and during excavation. Excavations by Bill Putnam in 1991 revealed a ditch and a small hollow, and it is thought that this feature was used as a rubbish dump.
