Full Description
A dewpond lies immediately to the north of the Axminster-Dorchester Roman Road. It appears to be cut into the north-eastern rampart of the univallate Iron Age enclosure descried in MDO1541 and is therefore Roman or later in origin. The site is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. {1}
