Full Description

Semi-detached pair of late medieval cottages, refronted circa 1830 in buff brick. 2 timber Gothic porches with hipped roofs of patterned tiling, segmental heads to ground floor windows. North end (No 28) has half-hipped half-timbered gable, black and white, with diagonal braces supporting lowest of 3 horizontal beams. Roof comes down very low at rear, more so on No 28; rear wall originally cob but now brick except part of No 29.
