Summary
An oval mound recorded as a possible barrow but thought more likely to be part of the the deserted medieval village at Court Close, or possibly associated with post-medieval landscaping of the area.

Full Description
A bowl barrow. Diameter 20 paces, height 2ft. <2>
A mound 14.0m diameter N-S and 20m E-W ie, the downhill side. Height 0.6m taken to the south. This mound has all the appearances of a grass covered bowl barrow but its near proximity to a Md depopulated village earthwork suggests some element of doubt. <3>
At SY 77499796 is an oval mound 2 feet high with no trace of a ditch. It is probably part of the earth-works to the north-east, rather than a barrow. <4>
Round barrow south of Manor Farm SY 775980. Scheduled. <5>
Although scheduled as a barrow its situation is such that it is more likely to be Medieval. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <6>
