Summary
The southern half of a 17th century building in Trinity Street, near the junction with High West Street was heightened, partly rebuilt and more than doubled in size to form a theatre which opened in 1828 and closed 1843. This part of the building was later used as a warehouse and demolished in 1965.

Full Description
(SY 69179068). The southern half of a 17th century building in Trinity Street, near the junction with High West Street was heightened, partly rebuilt and more than doubled in size to form a theatre which opened in 1828 and closed 1843. Since then the building has been used as a warehouse and all the fittings have been removed leaving only the structural framing to define the various parts of the theatre. <1>
