Summary
Bronze Age bowl barrow. In 1970 this monument was recorded as around 50 feet in diameter with a mound about 3 feet high, and much plouched. This barrow is thought to have been opened around 1883, when a cremation burial in a Late Bronze Age bucket-urn was found.

'A' Much ploughed bowl barrow at SY 78620740, on a gentle south slope near Milborne Wood. Diameter about 50 feet; height 3 feet. <4>
Round barrow east of Milborne Wood. SY 786974, Scheduled. <5>
'A'. SY 78629740, diameter 16.0m., height 0.5m. Both barrows are in arable and have been much ploughed down. Neither has a visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <6>
