Full Description
Type 22 pillbox (exterior brick-shuttered) situated on coast where stream valley meets sea. Field of fire S to beach. [4 anti-tank blocks to S which used to block approach N up valley]. with PLAN drawn on form. <1>
The pillbox is visible as an extant feature on aerial photographs taken in 1942 <4> it was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
