Summary
A World War Two pillbox at East Bexington Farm, Abbotsbury. The pillbox was probably constructed in 1940 and it built of reinforced concrete. It was situated within the Abbotsbury Defence area, which at this time, was manned by the 6th Battalion Durham Light Infantry. A field visit in 1992 found the structure to be extant.

The piillbox is visible on aerial photographs <4-6> and was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
