Summary
A hexagonal stucture is visible on aerial photographs, located on the coast just to the west of Wyke Regis sewage works. It is considered likely to be the site of a Type 22 pillbox associated with Second World War military activity in this area.

Full Description
Hexagonal type 22 pillbox. [Shown on OS 1:2500 sheet SY 6676 (1959)]. At edge of cliffs, on land of equestrian centre, off Westhill Road, Wyke Regis. <1-3>
A hexagonal stucture is visible on aerial photographs <4>, located on the coast just to the west of Wyke Regis sewage works (NGR SY66027 76678). It is considered likely to be the site of a Type 22 pillbox associated with Second World War military activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
