Summary
A World War II emergency coast defence battery located near the Lower Lighthouse, Portland Bill, Isle of Portland. The battery was constructed in 1940-41 amd comprised three 6 inch guns and was manned by the Mobile Naval Base Defence Organisation. The structure has been demolished.
