Summary
A World War Two pillbox with possible machine gun post located at Upper Osprey, Portland. It was constructed sometime between 1940-41 and is built of brick and reinforced concrete. A field visit in 1996 found it to be in a good condition.

Thought to be a machine gun post. M/G cartridges found around the structure during clearance of scrub prior to the departure of the RN from the Naval Base at Upper Osprey, Porltand. <1-3>
