Summary
A World War Two slit trench recorded on the bank above the railway line and east of the Naval Rifle Range, Portland. The trench was constructed in 1940-41. A field visit in 1997 located no traces of the trench.

                A slit trench. Overgrown: no trace. [Informant: Gordon Black, resident at 'The Grove' during WW2].On bank above the railway line and E of the Naval Rifle Range. <1-3>
