Built: 1816 Where Built: Plymouth Master: Ware Crew: 2 Date of Loss Qualifier: A `The GEORGE of Plymouth, Ware, from Dover, in ballast, in trying to take this harbour last night, got ashore on the rocks and is likely to be a total wreck; crew, and part of materials, saved. (2) 12-NOV-1862, GEORGE, smack in ballast was stranded off Lyme Regis.(3)
