Full Description
Late 18th century pleasure grounds and landscape park at Downe Hall, containing early Edwardian formal gardens. <1>
The park and pleasure grounds were laid out during the late 19th century for William Downe. The formal gardens were designed by E S Prior circa 1900. <2>
The formal gardens and informal pleasure grounds lie to the south of the house and the small landscape park lies to the north.
