Summary
Former Drill hall, dated 1866, of one storey in hammer dressed stone with a pitched slate roof. The building had a lower lean-to entrance extension with coped stone gable ends. There was a floriate finial and a coat of arms in the tympanum. The doorway arch was inscribed 'First Dorset Rifle Volunteers. 1866'. Building now demolished.

Full Description
Drill hall dated 1866, of one storey in hammer dressed stone with a pitched slate roof. The building has a lower lean- to entrance extension with coped stone gable ends. The central part of this breaks forward and is surmounted by a coped gable on kneelers. There is also a floriate finial and a coat of arms in the tympanum. The doorway arch is inscribed First Dorset Rifle Volunteers. 1866. <1>
The building is now demolished.
