Full Description
04-JAN-1985 Wreck of what appears to be a small coaster located and examined 25-07-1984 in 50 28.51N 002 32.00W. Swept clear at 38.0m foul at 38.6m. Least echo sounder depth 39.8m in general depth 46m. Scour 1m deep. Height 6m, length 60m, beam 9m, approx. Lying NE/SW. A porthole was recovered from an unknown wreck, position given 50 28.88N 002 32.01W.(Droit A/641) (From the position given is likely to be this wreck) (1)
The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
