[Hawker Hurricane Mk. IIB standard fighter; 1 of a batch of 1000 delivered between August 1940 and July 1941 to Contract No. B62305/39] Collided with target and dived into sea, Chester hill range, Weymouth, Dorset, 9.9.1941. Builder: Hawker, Kingston, Brooklands and Langley Delivered: 1940-1 Squadron: 302 Date of Loss Qualifier: A Between 15.00 hours and 16.00 hours on 9-9-41 British Hurricane No 3676 crashed in deep water 70 yards off Abbotsbury Beach West bay.(2)
