The ship LA MICHEL, driven ashore by the violence of the sea near Weymouth on its passage to Aquitaine, and her goods carried off by Dorset malefactors.(!) C.PR Edward III 1364-1367 p63 membrane 48d The building date for this vessel is an estimate based on an average age at wrecking of twenty years. This average is derived from those vessels wrecked on the Dorset coast whose age at wrecking is known.
