Unidentified seabed obstruction reported by fishermen. Possibly indicative of wreckage or a submerged feature. Vertical Datum: LAT Chart Symbol: ST (1)
The site of a WWII bombardon (section of a floating breakwater/harbour) is visible as a partially submerged structure at this location on aerial photographs taken in 1946 {2} . The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project. It may be on of three visible on the shoreline on aerial photographsa taken in 1950 {3}
