An open rope walk to the north of Bedford Place shown on the 1888 Ordnance Survey map between the two covered walk buildings of the Spar Acre twine and net works (1).
This open rope walk was probably established in the early 1860s when Hounsell built his Spar Acre works. (2) (3).
